Lawyer's finding time to Twitter . . .

Lawyer's finding time to Twitter . . .

First thing in the morning as you enter the office and start your routine take 15 minutes to expand your professional social networking to include twitter.

Where do you start? Here's a template:
9 - 9:15 am - Arrive at work, check calendar, stay hydrated with water.
9:15 - 9:30 am - Sign on to computer, sign on to Twitter, check into one new Tweet sight and/or write one new Tweet, post to Twitter.

Built in to your daily routine, exploring Twitter becomes an important new marketing tool.

While we attorneys can always find time for one more golf game or one more holiday luncheon, it is time to recognize the importance of keeping up with the technology and marketing advances that younger generations use and master with lightening speed.

With the "15 minutes a day" technique, ensure your place in the newest potential client pool. No longer do people turn to the phone book for references - social media allows potential clients to "meet" you virtually and explore the benefits of working with you.
